My experience

In this category you can share your Luger Optik experience with others.
What countries did you travel to, carrying your binoculars?
Which rare bird did you watch using your spotting scope?
In what situation did the optics help you?

Every month we will hold a random drawing with all the submitted stories and
we will hand out an LG 8x21 pair of binoculars to the winner.
We will also send a LG 10x25 pair of binoculars to the writer of the story which
will be selected by us to be published here.
The contest starts with the start of our new website in April 2008.

Story of the month

Namibia trip

The Original Text has been sent to us in German.

My second Namibia trip was planned for end of August 2005, this time with my wife and my son.

Unfortunately we had bad luck right from the beginning of our trip: at the airport in Munich my luggage has been controlled as a matter of routine. They checked my rifle and informed me that the rifle has been reported as stolen. After a few hours the mistake could be enlightened…

Finally we arrived in Namibia, but it was very windy and we had no chance for deer-stalking.
We decided to day-trip to the Etosha- Pfanne. There is no better chance to observe the animals in their natural environment. I was so happy that I had now the chance to test my new Luger DX 10x42. We had luck and had the possibility to observe lions hunting.
