Every month we will hold a random drawing with all the submitted stories and
we will hand out an LG 8x21 pair of binoculars to the winner.
We will also send a LG 10x25 pair of binoculars to the writer of the story which
will be selected by us to be published here.
The contest starts with the start of our new website in April 2008.

Misslungener Einbruch
Hallo liebes Luger Team!
Wollte nur kurz eine kleine Geschichte los werden, die ich mit meinem Luger Fernglas erlebt habe.
Im vergangenen Jahr September – meine Frau und ich waren bereits zu Bett gegangen- als wir ein seltsames Geräusch am Haus bemerkten. Wir vermuteten, dass die Geräusche durch ein Tier verursacht wurden, weshalb wir auch keine Veranlassung sahen aufzustehen. Offen gestanden waren wir auch zu faul dazu…
Die Geräusche brachen jedoch nicht ab und zudem waren Stimmen zu hören. Ich wollte sicher gehen, dass es sich nicht um Einbrecher handelt, also stand ich auf und nahm mein Luger Fernglas aus der Kommode. Tatsächlich bemerkte ich Einbrecher, jedoch bei unseren Nachbarn, die für das Wochenende aufs Land gefahren sind. Ich notierte rasch das KFZ-Kennzeichen und alarmierte die Polizei. Die Einbrecher waren bereits mit der Flucht beschäftigt. Aber Dank meines Fernglases war ich in der Lage das Nummernschild zu erkennen. Dies war der entscheidende Hinweis für die Polizei die Diebe zu fassen.

I just wanted to tell a true story I experienced with my Luger binocular.
It was last year in September, my wife and I were lying already in our bed, when we heard this strange sound outside the house. We thought that it might be an animal causing this rustling sound, that´s why we did not get up out of the bed. To be honest, we were too lazy...
But we heard more strange sounds and also voices. Now I had to make sure that there were no housebreakers. I took my Luger binocular out of the commode and looked through it. In deed I saw some housebreakers at my neighbours´ house. I knew my neighbours were not at home that weekend. I decided to call the police and noted the license number down; meanwhile the housebreakers “finished their job” and departed with their car. Thanks to my binocular I was able to see the license number and the police managed to get the thieves.
